I know no one else will think this amusing save myself, but I had to document the fact that when Baby Girl awoke this morning in Any Highway Exit Motel, Kentucky, the door to our room was open to reveal birds singing on a wire outside. "CHICKENS!" she resounded, "I MISSED YOU! YOU'RE MY FAVORITE FRIENDS!"

I am so encouraged that at least one of us is embracing our new Southern neighbors.
